FULL SEND

UFC 308 and 309 with FULL SEND

As the Director of Photography at MAFIC, I worked with FULL SEND to capture content at two incredible events: UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi and UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden. Both showcased the skill, determination, and drama that make MMA so captivating. At UFC 308, Ilia Topuria defended his featherweight title against Max Holloway in a thrilling fight, while Khamzat Chimaev proved his doubters wrong by submitting Robert Whittaker. UFC 309 brought the action to Madison Square Garden, where Jon Jones returned to defend his heavyweight title. Each fight on the card featured exceptional talent, resulting in knockouts and hard-fought victories. Beyond the octagon, appearances by Donald Trump and Elon Musk added an unexpected layer of intrigue. FULL SEND provided exclusive access to the fighters, allowing me to capture not only the action but also their mindset and preparation. Behind the scenes, I navigated crowded arenas and shifting schedules while respecting the athletes’ focus. These events were more than just fights; they told stories of resilience and passion. Producing content for FULL SEND brought fans closer to the action and revealed the human side of the sport, forging a connection that goes beyond the cage.

"By The Sea" by Leona

For the Leona "By The Sea" campaign, we found ourselves on a yacht in Toronto’s Outer Harbour Marina, surrounded by subtle textures, natural light, and gentle waves. The creative direction leaned toward simplicity and intimacy, with a black-and-white palette that evoked a sense of timelessness. We coordinated a precise schedule, balancing makeup and hair preparations with smooth transitions into filming. Simple props such as a book, a pair of sunglasses, and a cigarette hinted at quiet narratives unfolding among the models. Ordinary gestures, like sipping water or tying up hair, became delicate moments captured in a gentle, drifting environment. This controlled yet organic approach allowed the team to highlight authenticity while maintaining a calm, refined aesthetic. By curating the mood and guiding the interplay of model interactions, we produced footage that felt effortlessly elegant. This project stands as a testament to how minimalism and careful planning can yield enduring emotional resonance.

Set against rolling hills and rustic barns, the campaign highlighted the collection’s luxurious textures and innovative designs. Our team worked to capture the essence of this collection, showcasing draping trousers, oversized cropped tees, and timeless straight-leg denim. The rugged backdrop served as the perfect complement to the collection’s refined tailoring, emphasizing its versatility for both casual and elevated settings. Accessories such as distressed leather boots and vintage-inspired hats tied the looks together, paying homage to Western heritage while staying firmly rooted in contemporary fashion. Through this campaign, Kollar’s Rodeo Club collection proved to be a celebration of individuality and a reimagination of classic Americana for the modern era.
