Creativity under pressure

The request came with just four hours’ notice: produce a music video for Sam Drysdale’s “Only the Strong Survive.” We embraced the challenge, knowing that constraints often spark innovative thinking. At Coin 8 Studio, we focused on straightforward setups, a grand piano, carefully placed lighting, and minimalistic backdrops to emphasize the raw emotion in Sam’s performance.

By working with what we had and adapting quickly, we turned a tight timeline into a defining element of the shoot. Instead of feeling rushed, we directed that energy into purposeful decision-making. The outcome was a video that felt honest and immediate, demonstrating MAFIC’s ability to stay agile and deliver meaningful results, even when the clock is ticking.
